Here begins a story full of color, fun and a lot of creativity. It all started two years ago, when I was looking for sunglasses for the summer and I realized how boring the options were. Sunglasses for kids without spark or fun? Impossible! I was transported back to my childhood, where glasses were functional but not exciting. And that had to change!

Being a graphic designer and working for a toy distribution company, I already had a special connection with the world of children's creativity. I wanted to take this experience beyond toys and create something as fun as it is functional: glasses that could change every day and adapt to every mood! And that's how Sumsun was born, sunglasses that not only protect, but also allow children to express themselves through our adorable Summies, little interchangeable characters.

 

To make this vision a reality, I started by sharing the idea with the company I worked for, and luckily, they supported me 100%. At first, there were just two of us: me as the concept creator and graphic designer and my amazing friend Xenia, the illustrator with the gift of bringing any idea to life. But the team grew quickly, and very soon, our friend Gemma, another graphic designer, joined the project. The three of us, at just 22 years old, jumped into this adventure without fear!

 

So if you ever see a kid wearing a pair of Sumsuns, you'll know that he's wearing much more than just sunglasses! He's carrying a little adventure in his pocket.
